Commsduct - a fibre management system

Commsduct, a fibre management system, has been specifically designed to give the best possible protection for Fibre Optic installations. Its fast and simple design helps the installer to assemble and commission the system with the minimum of time and labour. The material is halogen free, flame retardant to UL94/VO and meets the Bellcore NEBS specification.

Whilst the system affords perfect protection from dirt and dust, the unique easy access covers allows the future addition or removal of cables without the need for Velcro or special tools. Care in the design affords perfect bend radius uniformity providing full cable protection throughout the entire fibre route.

The system is manufactured in the UK, and is, therefore, readily available to accommodate today’s fast track environment. This also means pricing is stable as currency exchange fluctuations do not affect the cost.

Dedicated Data Hall Cable Containment

Dedicated data hall cable containment systems manufactured to guidelines recommended by the European Standards (EN50174/1 & 2) to provide a trouble free cable installation.

The objective is to provide a solution which is fit for purpose. So often, by default, cable baskets, designed for electrical cables, are used. Typically finished with Electrozinc plate, which can lead to the occurrence of zinc ‘spurs’, especially when forming bends/tees on site, thus causing the surface coating to flake and peel. This is overcome by supplying factory made fittings, required by the standards, having the required cable bending radii, and manufactured from pre-galvanised steel.
